Hawk Watch

Meet at Fred Long Centennial Park

Guide: Atlee Wise

Join us at our bi-weekly hawkwatch at Fred Long Centennial Park. Fred Long Centennial Park provides an excellent vantage point allowing us to see several miles along a north-south migration route for many species of hawks, eagles, vultures and other raptors. If the weather cooperates there is potential to see several hundred raptors migrating and taking advantage of thermal updrafts to assist them in their migration. Bring a chair and some binoculars as we watch the spectacle of raptor migration!
